Nicole Buetti turned a childhood of being misunderstood into a vegan self-care brand built on genuine love, with one message: Wash that pain down the drain. Release your pain. Raise your frequency.
Miami, Florida, October 21, 2026. As a child, Nicole Buetti cried for the bugs. When other kids killed spiders, grasshoppers, and lizards, she grieved for them. She felt things deeply, and the world around her didn't know what to do with that.
She was placed in special classes, labeled emotionally handicapped, and told as she grew up that she was disabled. At home she was put down again and again and told she was "too much." Instead of being taught how to protect her sensitivity, she learned to be ashamed of it.
"I was the kid who cried for the spiders," says Buetti, founder of Belladonna Love the Awakening. "People saw someone who was too much. I now believe I was just someone who felt everything."
Buetti identifies as an earth angel and empath. She says she feels other people's pain in her body, including a sharp pain in the bottom of her right foot when she sees someone hurting, which fades when the moment passes. "I don't think I'm the only one," she says. "If you feel other people's pain in your body, I want to hear from you. I'm looking for my people, and I want my people to find me."
She believes authenticity and love help the planet shift. She also believes that holding onto pain keeps our frequency low, and that releasing it is part of raising it. "I can't save the world alone," says Buetti. "It's going to take all of us healing together. I'm doing my part."
Why It's Called Belladonna Love
The name comes from love. The brand is named after Buetti's dog, Bella, and it stands for her love for her pup, her love for herself, her love for the people she wants to help heal, and her love for the Earth.
"It's called Belladonna Love because it's genuine love," says Buetti. "I want people to know they're supported and they're not alone. Somebody has been fighting day and night for almost two years just to help them heal. I put everything I have into this. They don't even know who I am, but they are loved."
"Everyone has struggles. You could be a business owner, a parent, someone going through a divorce or a court case, or someone with nowhere to go. It doesn't matter. This is for anyone who's carrying something and ready to put it down."
